Orin Jewelers is licensed as a Precious Metal Dealer. We have been serving the community for years and fully comply with all relative state laws.
As Greg said, the process is simple! No appointment is necessary, simply bring in all the items you are looking to sell and we'll take care of the rest! While you are with us you can expect the following to occur:
Your jewelry will be separated into their relative purity categories (14k, 10k, silver, plat, etc.) before they are weighed and priced in front of you. Any quotes we give are non-binding, meaning it's your choice if you want to sell your items to us.
If you do decide to sell us your items a valid State ID is required (you must be over the age of 18 by law) and payment is issued immediately. We can provide you with cash (though there are limits set for security purposes), a check, or we can add the amount to your Orin Jewelers account to pay for a new statement piece or any layaway items you may have.
Orin Jewelers also offers Estate and Gemstone Buying! In many cases, our Jewelers can return gemstones to you when selling your precious metals. Additional charges may apply for removing of gemstones
